Joschka Fischer

Managing Partner

The former Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany (1998-2005) led the Green Party in its first participation in government, both at the state (Hessen) and federal levels. From 2006 to 2007, Joschka Fischer held a professorship at the Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs at Princeton University (US). Joschka Fischer is a founding partner of Joschka Fischer and Company.
Dietmar Huber

Dietmar Huber

Managing Partner

The former journalist served as advisor and spokesman to Joschka Fischer during three German Parliamentary election campaigns, press spokesman for the Green Party federal parliamentary group between 1994 and 2005 and principal consultant in the Berlin office of a leading German communication consultancy based in Düsseldorf. Dietmar Huber is a founding partner of Joschka Fischer and Company.

Alexander Diehl

After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in London in 1999 Alexander Diehl entered the field of digital media and e-commerce, working for various companies in Europe. In 2005 he founded KKLD*, a Berlin and NYC based digital and innovation agency, which was acquired by WPP in 2012. In 2009 he co-founded Architizer in New York City. Alexander Diehl has been a Senior Advisor to BMW iVentures in New York City since its launch in 2011. Alexander Diehl is Partner at JF&C.

Julia Eckey

Julia Eckey

Principal

Julia Eckey studied political science. She has served in various senior positions in a leading business association. Before her start at Joschka Fischer & Company, Eckey headed the association's international division. Eckey brings a broad network and comprehensive knowledge to stakeholder and government relations. She has trusted experience identifying and evaluating the demands made especially of the so called German "Mittelstand“ as well as on the international market stage. Her additional training as a management coach allows her to support the implementation of transition processes in business management. Ms. Eckey's expertise at JF&C is in guiding „Mittelstand“ companies through the implementation of modification processes and internationalization of firms.

Elisa Jäkel

Principal

Elisa Jäkel supports JF&C clients by evaluating the relevance of current issues of sustainability for companies and developing individual solutions. Making use of a broad network, she integrates the perspectives of political and societal stakeholders into consultancy strategies. Prior to joining JF&C, Jäkel coordinated sustainability projects for the Forum for Sustainable Development of German Businesses (econsense) and worked for a DAX company in the EU liaison office. Before that, Jäkel gained professional experience in the administration of a German Bundestag study commission, in the Berlin liaison offices of various companies and as a staff member in a political foundation.

Claudio Struck

Senior Consultant

Claudio Struck has long-standing international experience in public affairs, political advising and project management. As Project Manager in Sao Paulo, Struck realized the first “Germany Year“ in Brazil for a leading German industry association and the German government. A historian by background, Struck opened the liaison office for a German university in Brazil. Prior to joining JF&C, Struck served as an adviser to the leadership of Germany’s Green Party, creating and engaging with industry contacts. At JF&C, Struck supports clients with regulatory affairs challenges in the digital economy and by developing political and civil society engagement strategies. Mr. Struck is fluent in Portuguese.

Constance Chucholowski

Senior Consultant

Constance Chucholowski supports JF&C clients by advising on stakeholder and diplomatic communication and providing market entry analysis. Before joining JF&C, Ms. Chucholowski consulted on projects for the United States Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Global Livingston Institute, analysing global corruption indices and NGO expansion. Previously, Chucholowski supported a United States Member of Congress on foreign affairs and judicial issues. She holds a M.A. in International Public Affairs and a B.A. in International Studies and Political Science with a regional focus on Africa.

Matthias Schröter

Senior Consultant

Schröter is a skilled editor and former journalist with a background in history and political science. He covered the first start-up wave during the early 2000s for a leading German news agency, where he later served as a political correspondent in charge of covering the German capital. As the former communications director of the Green Party parliamentary groups in two different German State Parliaments, Schröter understands the complexity of politics and policy. Prior to joining JF&C, Schröter worked at the nexus of economics and communications at a trade organisation for SMEs, where he accompanied the European boom of long-distance bus services immediately following market liberalisation in Germany. Schröter's experience at the intersection of economics, politics and society has provided him with an extensive network of political and media actors. At JF&C, Schröter advises clients on public affairs and public relations.
Yulia Hladkova

Yulia Hladkova

External Advisor

Yulia Hladkova worked for a leading Ukrainian political party as an international secretary with focus on European and transatlantic party cooperation and links, served for the winning Presidential candidate and his party during several election campaigns, and advised Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on international cooperation and strategy. In addition, she worked as a program manager at a pacesetting private Ukrainian NGO with an accent on strategic education and country image abroad. Ms. Hladkova studied foreign languages in Ukraine and international politics in Brussels, was a scholarship holder of the German Bundestag, Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Parliament. She advises clients on political strategies and east-European partnerships.

Andrzej Marcin Suszycki

Head of Representation in Poland

Dr. Suszycki received his MA in German and Scandinavian literature and political science as well as his PhD in international relations at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He has lectured in international relations, political theory, European integration and welfare state studies as well as comparative politics at Universities in Potsdam, Passau, Wuppertal, Berlin (Humboldt University and Free University of Berlin), Torun (Poland) and the Collegium Civitas University in Warsaw. He was also a research fellow at the University of Padua (Italy), Odense (Denmark) and Helsinki (Finland). Dr. Suszycki has authored and edited several books in the field of political science. Dr. Suszycki heads the JF&C representation in Warsaw.
Martin Wewel

Martin Wewel

Consultant

Martin Wewel develops and evaluates sustainability projects and accompanying communication concepts for economic actors at JF&C. On their basis, Wewel formulates stakeholder specific and organisation customised instruments for the creation of a multidisciplinary sustainability strategy. Prior to starting with JF&C Wewel studied environmental science with an emphasis on economics. In his thesis, completed at JF&C, Wewel analysed the various forms and intensity of stakeholder inclusion in large German corporate entities. Wewel gained additional professional experience in the field of international government relations at a leading automotive manufacturer.

Xenia Knorr

Consultant

Xenia Knorr supports JF&C clients through policy analysis and the development of communication and sustainability strategies. During her studies and in previous positions she focused on Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainable development. She gathered professional experience in a German Ministry, with an international policy institute, and with a German political foundation in China. Xenia Knorr has a M.A. in International Relations with an emphasis on Europe and China and she holds a B.A. in Politics and Law.

Dustin Williams

Junior Consultant

At JF&C, Dustin Williams provides policy analyses on various topics inluding the regulatory challenges faced by the digital economy. Before joining JF&C, Dustin Williams served at a German Federal Ministry where he supported the division for European Union Affairs. He gathered further professional experience with a United States Senator and as research assistant to renowned Sociology Professor, Claus Offe. He completed his B.A. in European Studies and holds a Master of Public Policy with a Public Management focus.

Leah Yaël Flam

Junior Consultant

Leah Yaël Flam has international experience in public affairs and project management. Before joining JF&C, Ms. Flam served as Public Affairs Officer at an NGO in Brussels. After her studies, she completed a traineeship at the European External Action Service, where she supported the EU Global Strategy. Previously, she interned with the U.S. Embassy in Berlin and Deutsche Welle. She is a co-founder of Polis180. She completed her BA in International Relations with a focus on the MENA region and acquired a Master of Public Policy in Berlin.
